 This calculator is for figuring out how long it will take you to pay off your credit cards where set monthly payments are made and the interest is compounded monthly (which is standard for the U.S.) 
How much do you have on your credit card (the balance)?  
Example: $5,000.23...  Enter 5000.23   (No commas!)
What's the (yearly) interest rate on the card?   %
Example: 12%...  Enter 12      19.8%...  Enter 19.8
If you're not sure, call the 800 number on the back of the card and ask!
How much are you going to pay each month?  
Example: $35.67...  Enter 35.67




Try an experiment:  Increase your monthly payment by just $20 and see what a big difference it makes!   I'll bet you can find $20 worth of stuff you are wasting your money on each month...  That's only 67 cents a day!
