Karen holds a
B.A. and M.S. in Mathematics and currently teaches math at a community college.
She has taught courses in
teacher training for K-8 and has a background in graphic
design, computer programming and science.
In the spring
of 1997, she created Coolmath. Over the years, it
has grown to be one of the world's most popular
educational websites with over 100,000 visitors a day.

Chief
Financial Officer
Phil graduated from
Shippensburg University in PA with a B.S. in Business
Admin./Accounting in 1979. He worked for Arthur Andersen &
Co until 1984 and became a CPA during his tenure there. Phil has
worked for a leading real estate developer ever since and is currently Chief
Financial Officer/Treasurer.
He is a member of the AICPA
(American Institute of Certified Public Accountants) and the
California Society
of CPA's... And Karen's brother-in-law.

Tigger came to
Karen eight years ago with an extensive background in
meowing, cleaning himself and rubbing his face on stuff he
likes.
He was hired immediately.
Tigger now helps
in the development of new lessons for Coolmath...
Finances are really his specialty, so we let him write the
content for this site... If you find a mistake, it's HIS fault!
